On This Page
Ramson Estates provides property maintenance, repairs, renovations, property improvement and related services to residential and commercial clients.
Our services may include, but are not limited to:
Ramson Estates may use qualified and/or suitably experienced third-party contractors or service providers to perform certain services.
All quotations provided by Ramson Estates are based on the information available to us at the time of quotation.
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
Ramson Estates reserves the right to correct obvious errors or omissions in quotations.
Where a site inspection is required, the client agrees to provide Ramson Estates and/or its contractors with reasonable access to the property.
A site inspection does not necessarily mean that all defects, structural issues or hidden problems will be identified.
Where concealed damage or conditions are discovered after work has commenced, Ramson Estates will communicate the issue to the client and may provide an additional quotation where applicable.
A service booking or quotation acceptance may be confirmed through email, WhatsApp, telephone, written communication or another agreed method.
Ramson Estates reserves the right to require a deposit or upfront payment before commencing certain projects.
Work will generally only commence once any required deposit has been received and the necessary arrangements have been confirmed.
Where a deposit is required, the amount and payment terms will be stated in the quotation or invoice.
The client agrees to make payments according to the agreed payment schedule.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Any refund, cancellation or deposit arrangements will be handled in accordance with applicable South African law and the specific terms agreed for the project.
Materials will generally be selected according to the quotation and the client's requirements.
Where a specific brand, colour, finish or product has been requested, availability may affect the project timeline and price.
If a selected product becomes unavailable, Ramson Estates may propose a suitable alternative for the client's approval.
Natural materials and certain manufactured products may have variations in colour, texture, pattern or finish. Such variations do not necessarily constitute a defect.
If additional work is requested by the client, or if unforeseen conditions require additional work, the additional work may result in additional costs.
Where reasonably possible, Ramson Estates will notify the client before carrying out additional chargeable work.
Additional work may include, but is not limited to:
The client agrees to:
The client is responsible for ensuring that Ramson Estates and its contractors have safe and reasonable access to the areas where work is required.
Ramson Estates may appoint independent contractors, tradespeople or other service providers to perform some or all of the work.
Where contractors are used, Ramson Estates will make reasonable efforts to use suitable service providers.
Contractors may be responsible for specific aspects of the work, depending on the project and agreed arrangements.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes any rights or protections that a consumer may have under applicable South African law.
Any estimated completion date or timeframe provided by Ramson Estates is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Projects may be delayed by circumstances including, but not limited to:
Ramson Estates will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays to the client.
Ramson Estates aims to provide services with reasonable care and skill.
If a client believes that work has not been completed in accordance with the agreed scope, the client should notify Ramson Estates as soon as reasonably possible.
The client may be required to provide photographs, details of the issue or reasonable access to the property so that the matter can be assessed.
Where appropriate, Ramson Estates may arrange for the issue to be inspected and, where Ramson Estates is responsible for the defect, reasonable corrective action may be considered.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights the client may have.
Where products or equipment supplied as part of a project carry a manufacturer's warranty, the manufacturer's warranty terms may apply.
Ramson Estates does not provide a manufacturer's warranty for products supplied by third parties unless expressly stated in writing.
Any workmanship warranty offered for a specific project will be stated in the quotation, invoice or written agreement.
Where a client supplies materials, equipment or products, Ramson Estates is not responsible for defects, incompatibility, incorrect specifications or failure of those materials, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Ramson Estates may refuse to install or use materials that are considered unsuitable, unsafe or incompatible with the work.
Ramson Estates and its contractors will take reasonable care when working on a client's property.
The client acknowledges that certain work may involve dust, noise, vibration, drilling, cutting, movement of materials or temporary disruption.
The client should remove or secure fragile, valuable or personal items before work begins.
Ramson Estates will not be responsible for pre-existing defects or damage that was not caused by Ramson Estates or its contractors.
Where appropriate, Ramson Estates may take photographs or videos of completed work for quality-control, portfolio and marketing purposes.
Ramson Estates will not intentionally publish identifiable personal information or private areas of a client's property without appropriate permission.
If a client does not wish photographs of their property or completed work to be used for marketing purposes, they may notify Ramson Estates in writing.

Cancellation terms may vary depending on the type of service or project.
